I have iMIS how does it work?
We provide a script that is run on the database
to create the required tables. The table data is
inside your iMIS database.
I have e-Series how can I create
required navigation for ballot access (both creating
and voting)?
Code snippets are provided for adding the naviagtion into
both the top and side index in e-Series. Both of these areas are also
easily customized.
Can a voter change their previously
exercised ballot?
Yes, the excersied ballot is presented to the voter
once they log in, they then have the opportunity
to make changes or to cancel if they have changed
their mind.
Do I need to know how to create
web pages or html to set things up?
No, all you have to do is cut and paste your ballot
information the formatting is all done for you.
Can I have only some people
vote?
Yes, you can choose who votes based on your particular
needs. (i.e.) a specific division, group, or chapter
can have their own ballot
Can I reuse parts of a previous
ballot?
Yes, you can reuse components and question banks
if they have been used before. (You only have to
create them once)
Do I still need to send out
a paper ballot?
Offering your members a choice to vote either online or
via paper is recommended. You can create a UD window that
with gather this information and then 'snail mail' or email
as indicated to your membership.
Can I have the same issue on
all ballots, like the president and different types
of officers based on chapters or regions? Yes
you can, with our system you can have one portion
of the ballot (President) the same on all of ballots
and different names for vice president, or chapter
related offices.
Can I add biographies &
pictures for the nominees?
Yes, you can and create links for more information
on your ballot.
How do we turn the election
off?
When you set up your election you create a start
and finish date for the election. At midnight on
the day you choose the system will no longer accept
any voters.
Can a member/user change or
update a ballot while the election is on?
Yes, you can change/edit/update your ballot during
the election.
How can I tell if someone has
voted?
All of the results are stored in a table in your
database, you can either run a report or simply
check the record.
My board likes reports - can
I run any additional reports on the results?
Yes, we provide a table layout with fields and joins for
standard iMIS tables so you can create any number of reports easily.
